EXTRA-72267 - USA (White Plains, New York) - Youth Employment Program Service - Deadline August 3,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide youth employment program service to the government authority located in White Plains, NY.• Public and private organizations for the provision of a 2026–2027 Youth Employment Program (YEP) for eligible Temporary Assistance to Needy Families Youth• The YEP is intended to help reduce community gun violence and youth criminal justice involvement by providing year–round employment opportunities• Research shows, vulnerable at–risk and unemployed youth can face struggles later in life, including poverty, dependence on public assistance programs and criminal justice involvement. – In addition, youth exposed to trauma and violence may suffer long term harmful effects including barriers to successful employment and financial prospects later in life.• Funding will support the establishment of a program which includes employment, education and/or career exploration opportunities for agency–eligible youth from low–income households• Funding will also support employment programs for youth at risk of gun violence as part of a state–wide gun–violence reduction intervention model• Providers are also encouraged to collaborate with local law enforcement and other local organizations serving at–risk youth•  Develop work site placements in public, private and not–for–profit agencies.– Match youth to worksites based on each youth’s ability, interest, employment goals and the supervision offered.• Provide all supervisors of program participants with a formal familiarization of program goals, requirements and procedures.• Maintain participant sign in sheets (time and attendance) at all worksites.• Obtain an evaluation from the worksite supervisor on all youth enrolled in the program (Evaluations included with attachment hereto).(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 14, 2026
