(1) Vendor needs to provide print shop production printer and copier equipment rental service to the government authority located in Shreveport, LA.– Service shall include preventative maintenance, routine repair, application assistance, and parts and labor for all covered copy machines and adjunct equipment. – Service hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. weekdays except designated holidays.– Scanning and editing software:– Cropping, cut or paste or copy, image quality adjustments (halftones and photographs).– Rotating, scaling of photographs and halftones.– Adding, deleting text or images, integrating logos or saved merge items, adding shadingand watermarks.– Image shift.– Printer equipment specifications:– B&W production printer or copier:– Unit must be classified as Production unit.– 1200 x 1200 DPI resolution with 256 shades of Gray, 8 bits.– Paper feed units to incorporate air suction paper feed system.– De–curling capability for different type of paper stocks run though digital unit.– Color production printer or copier:– In–line automated closed loop quality management system to keep calibration and registration consistent, sheet to sheet, in real time regardless of run length. automatically making adjustments on the fly.– Paper feed units to incorporate air suction paper feed system.– De–curling capability for different type of paper stocks run though digital unit.
