The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit proposals for cyclical Embankment Irrigation services for a grassed embankment of various widths, while adjusting to various fixed objects including water control structures, bollards, end walls, cross drains . Estimated irrigation for C43 embankment is 2,280 acres annually. Current site restrictions are as follows: soil-cement crest conditions (i. e., DOT HS20 load rating with uniform tire loading, 14-ft clear driving surface between wave walls, nominal 3,000-gal maximum tank size, 5,000 if trailered) for top of the embankment. The Contract term is 3 years with 2 one-year renewal options.
