The ultimate aim is to support the delivery of improved health outcomes for patients, empower healthcare professionals with advanced tools, and accelerate progress in medical research and innovation. At the same time, the Open Framework seeks to drive greater value for money, reduce duplication in procurement efforts, and enable consistent standards for implementation, governance, and digital maturity across the system.
