Marine Facilities Inspections

Project will provide Beaufort County with engineer's reports on the current conditions of the marine assets owned by the County. These inspections will report on the conditions of, but will not be limited to, upland structures and facilities, parking, ADA compliance, waterfront structures including boat ramps, barding piers, floating docks and fishing piers. Inspections to include above the waterline and below the waterline examinations. Reports to include engineer's estimates for work at each facility based on a scale of urgency. Inspections to follow the applicable standards of the ASCE Manual of Practice for Waterfront Facilities Inspections and Assessments, FHWA NBIS, or others as applicable.
