Environmental Services - NPDES & FOG

City of La Palma / Management Services

Description

The City of La Palma is committed to clean ocean water. The Public Works & Community Services Director oversees the City’s participation in the NPDES Stormwater permit program and Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) program county-wide. Locally, the City of La Palma reports to and addresses permit requirements through the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board (SARWQCB). Current storm water permit requirements include inspection of commercial, industrial, municipal facilities, field programs, and construction site, data collection and reporting, performance measure analysis, storm water monitoring, and staff training. The purpose of this request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified professional environmental consulting firms to provide contract services for the management of the NPDES and FOG programs for the City of La Palma, as these programs are becoming increasingly complex and more stringent.
