Vendor needs to provide architectural design of residential infill homes service to the government authority located in Muskegon, MI. – For the preparation and submission of several designs for residential single–family homes meant to be placed on existing vacant lots as part of the city’s infill housing Program.– This project will support the City’s current Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, Consolidated Plan for agency, as well as city initiatives to ensure an adequate supply of both affordable and market rate housing.– Provide construction ready plans for a two–bedroom, one–bathroom home that can be placed on a basement and converted to a three–bedroom, two–bathroom unit. – Provide design criteria guidance to ensure diversity of exterior facades among constructed units – Produce house plans that can be constructed with cost efficiency in mind to maximize affordability for prospective buyers.– Produce house designs that have ADA–Accessible alternatives so that a number of units for mobility challenged buyers can be built during the project.– Additionally, the selected firm will need a knowledge of the zoning for residential neighborhoods in the city, including recent reforms focused on maximizing housing choice and density.
