(1) Vendor needs to provide professional enhanced security guard service to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA.• Protection of City officials, employees, facilities, property, infrastructure, and members of the public.– Executive/personal protection and security for public meetings, special events, and emergency operations.– Foot and vehicle patrols, access control, security screening, and monitoring of restricted areas.– Proactive identification, assessment, and response to security threats, suspicious activity, disturbances, trespassing, vandalism, theft, threats, and other security incidents.– Management of unauthorized persons, including providing lawful direction to leave City property, monitoring compliance, and taking appropriate action to prevent unauthorized re–entry.– Trespass enforcement to the fullest extent permitted by California law, including lawful detention or citizen's arrest when legally authorized.– De–escalation and verbal intervention when reasonably practicable.– Coordination with City personnel and law enforcement when an incident exceeds the authority or capabilities of private security personnel.• Physical intervention, defensive tactics, restraint, or other reasonable force when legally justified and necessary to protect persons or property.• Timely and detailed reporting of security incidents, trespass incidents, arrests or detentions, use–of–force incidents, injuries, property damage, and law enforcement response.(2) The contract period will be for five years.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 18, 2026.
