(1) Vendor needs to provide healthcare apprenticeship licensure pathways services to the government authority located in Augusta, ME.– Support the design, development, and implementation of innovative registered apprenticeship career pathways that expand opportunities for incumbent workers to advance in their careers and support rural healthcare needs.– Registered Apprenticeship provides an opportunity to redesign these pathways by recognizing paid, on–the–job learning as an integral component of degree attainment while enabling workers to earn wages as they progress toward higher credentials.– Seeks to expand apprenticeship into occupations where traditional education, licensure, and clinical training models have historically limited apprenticeship adoption.– Facilitate the statewide strategy development process necessary to expand registered apprenticeship into mid and advanced–level healthcare occupations requiring postsecondary education and licensure and in high demand in rural areas.– Develop recommendations that align employer workforce needs with educational and licensing requirements while maximizing work–based learning and opportunities for advancement.– Strategies to maximize recognition of on–the–job learning through the awarding of academic credit for demonstrated competency while ensuring compliance with licensing, accreditation, and educational requirements.– Produce a statewide implementation strategy identifying priority occupations, recommended apprenticeship models, required policy or operational changes, timelines, and partner responsibilities.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
