Vendor needs to provide workers’ compensation cost containment and pharmacy benefit management services.– 24/7 Nurse Triage – To receive calls from injured workers or agency representatives to provide a medical recommendation to the injured worker for the most appropriate level of care for the initial evaluation and treatment of an industrial injury.– Utilization review.– Bill review and preferred provider network (PPO) networks.– Pharmacy benefit management services including retail network management, mail order fulfillment and claim adjudication, auditing, account management, eligibility and implementation support, billing management, rebate management, formulary management, clinical program and utilization management, benefit modeling and analytics, and client reporting.– Maintain a toll free dedicated claim intake telephone number for the reporting of new workers’ compensation claims twenty–four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days a week (24/7) including weekends and holidays.– Offer electronic point–of–service (POS) pharmacy claims adjudication services to communicate claimant eligibility and prescription approval information to contractor’s provider network.
