(1) Vendor needs to provide planning review specialist service to the government authority located in Edmond, OK.• Planning Review Specialist to provide Professional services for the following Projects:– Ongoing project management for the development of the Unified Development Code (UDC), including ordinance review, code testing, drafting support, and professional planning expertise throughout the update process.– Adoption of the UDC, including collaboration with City staff, elected and appointed officials, boards and commissions, development stakeholders, and other participants in the development review process.– Implementation of the UDC, including review of public and private commercial construction projects and residential subdivisions processed through the agency• Responsibilities of the Planning review specialist:1. Professional Planning and Zoning Review: The Planning Review Specialist (Specialist) shall provide professional planning and zoning review services, as requested by the City, for development related applications.2. UDC Development Oversight and Adoption: The Specialist shall provide oversight, coordination, and support necessary to complete the drafting and adoption of the Unified Development Code. This includes collaboration with consultants, City staff, the public, and elected and appointed officials to produce a final UDC document.3. UDC Implementation Support: Following adoption, the Specialist shall assist the Development Review Services Director with integrating the new ordinances into the City’s development review processes. Tasks may include staff and applicant training, workflow updates, and other implementation activities.4. Additional Services: The Specialist shall provide additional development review–related services as mutually agreed upon by both parties.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
