(1) Vendor needs to provide submetering design service to the government authority located in Los Altos Hills, CA. – Provide engineering consulting services to develop a phased, districtwide utility submetering design program.– The project consists of four sequential phases, beginning with an assessment of existing metering infrastructure and progressing through the design of new water, natural gas, and electrical submeters for selected campus buildings.– Water Submetering Design• Identify buildings prioritized for water submetering based on building size, occupancy, operational significance, and District priorities• Perform site investigations as necessary• Develop schematic and design documents for installation of domestic water submeters• Coordinate meter locations with existing utility infrastructure• Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, equipment schedules, and cost estimates– Natural Gas Submetering Design• Identify buildings prioritized for natural gas submetering• Verify existing gas distribution infrastructure• Develop design documents for installation of natural gas flow meters• Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, equipment schedules, and planning–level cost estimates• Coordinate proposed installations with District operations and maintenance staff(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 27, 2026.
