(1) Vendor needs to provide mental health day rehabilitation services to the government authority located in Oakland, CA. – Day rehabilitation Programs serve children and adolescents whose behavioral health needs cannot be effectively addressed through traditional outpatient services alone, but who do not require 24–hour residential treatment. • These Programs provide intensive therapeutic services designed to: – Stabilize acute behavioral health symptoms – Prevent psychiatric hospitalization and residential placement – Support successful transitions from higher levels of care – Improve functioning at home, school, and in the community – Strengthen caregiver capacity – Maintain youth in the least restrictive setting possible• The priority population for these services are youth ages 6–21 who: – Are County residents; – Are eligible for full–scope Medi–Cal; and– Meet service necessity for Specialty Mental Health Services and criteria for DR.• These youth may:– Have significant functional impairment– Have experienced repeated crises– Be at risk of out of home placement– Have experienced juvenile justice or jail placements – Have experienced repeated outpatient treatment failures – Require a coordinated multidisciplinary intervention approach – Services must be available between three and 24 hours each day the program is open. Activities may include, but not limited to, assessment, plan development, therapy, rehabilitation, and collateral.– This program will create a holistic environment aimed at enhancing overall well–being through structured activities and socialization.– These activities are tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients, ensuring they receive appropriate levels of care.• Program Model• Staffing• Authorization Requirements • Beneficiaries with Individual Education Plans(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 24, 2026.
