(1) Vendor needs to provide airport engineering services to the government authority located in Cortez, CO. – Work encompasses a comprehensive suite of airport engineering services delivered in five sequential phases preliminary, design, bidding/negotiation, construction and project closeout ensuring projects are defined, designed, executed and finalized. • Preliminary phase: This phase involves those activities required for defining the scope of a project and establishing preliminary requirements.• Design phase: This phase includes all activities required to undertake and accomplish a full and complete project design.• Bidding / negotiation phase: These activities are sometimes considered part of the construction phase.• Construction phase: – Providing consultation and advice to the agency during all phases of construction.– Representing the agency at preconstruction conferences.– Inspecting work in progress periodically and providing appropriate reports to the agency.– Reviewing and approving shop and erection drawings submitted by contractors for compliance with design concept/drawings.– Reviewing, analyzing and accepting laboratory and mill test reports of materials and equipment.– Assisting in the negotiation of change orders and supplemental agreements.• Project closeout phase: This phase includes all basic services rendered after the completion of a construction contract.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 28, 2026.
