(1) Vendor needs to provide desktop geothermal resource assessment and feasibility study service to the government authority located in Taholah, WA. – Conduct a Desktop Geothermal Resource Assessment and Feasibility Study of lands to evaluate geothermal resource potential and develop a technically defensible exploration strategy to guide future geothermal resource development efforts.– Task 1 – Data Compilation and Literature Review• Department of Energy geothermal resource assessments• Existing water well, geotechnical boring, and subsurface temperature data• Available oil and gas exploration records• Existing geophysical surveys and datasets• Earthquake and seismic monitoring records– Task 2 – Regional Geologic, Structural, and Tectonic Assessment• Evaluation of the regional tectonic setting within the Cascadia forearc basin• Characterization of Grays Harbor Basin stratigraphy and structural framework• Identification of regional and local fault systems• Evaluation of structural controls on permeability and fluid flow• Assessment of potential deep circulation pathways for thermal fluids– Task 3 – Seismicity and Active Tectonics Assessment• Compilation and analysis of earthquake records from USGS, PNSN, and other available sources• Identification of potentially active faults and fault intersections• Integration of seismicity data with geologic and structural interpretations– Task 4 – Thermal Resource Assessment and Conceptual Model Development: Evaluate available evidence for geothermal resources and subsurface heat occurrence within the project area.– Task 5 – Geothermal Favorability Analysis: Integrate geologic, structural, tectonic, seismic, thermal, and geophysical information into a geothermal favorability model.– Task 6 – Exploration Program Design: Develop recommendations for future geothermal exploration activities based on study findings.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 24, 2026.
