CONS-23964 - USA (New York) - Bird Exclusion and Dropping Remediation Services - Deadline September 30,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide bird exclusion and dropping remediation services to the government authority located in NY. – Specifications relate generally to the removal of bird droppings and installation of bird deterrent/exclusion systems at agency.• Removal of bird droppings:– Removal and cleaning of droppings shall at a minimum wear a N–95 dust mask, protective coveralls rubber gloves, and goggles.– Use a germicidal solution consisting of 10% household bleach (1–part household bleach mixed with 9–parts water), or other approved disinfectant, and thoroughly mix with droppings to a paste–like consistency.– Transfer the mixture into a plastic bag.– After the gross removal of the droppings, the affected areas must be lightly mopped with the working germicidal solution and left to air dry.• Bird exclusion and/or deterrent work: Perform bird deterrent and exclusion services.– Installation of six (6) strand netting to prevent birds from entering certain areas– Installation of spikes to prevent birds from nesting and roosting on surfaces– Application of PiGNX, or approved equal, to prevent birds from roosting and nesting on surfaces.– Safety Data Sheets (SDS) of product(s) intended to substitute PiGNX, or approved equal, must be submitted in advance to the Project Manager for review.– Installation of material to seal openings in structures and prevent birds from entering. (2) The contract period will be for four years. (3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 18, 2026.
