WSHS Auditorium Stage Renovation

The Request for Proposal (RFP) invites qualified contractors to deliver comprehensive stage upgrades at West Scranton High School. The project includes a base scope of work comprising selective demolition, stage and house lighting replacement, a new high-performance sound system, updated stage rigging and curtains. In addition, the contractor will be responsible for implementing necessary general conditions such as temporary facilities, insurance, and project supervision to ensure smooth execution. Beyond the base work, the RFP outlines soft cost elements, including design and construction fees, legal and permit expenses, contingencies, and alternate value-added enhancements. These alternates provide opportunities for additional improvements, such as acoustic treatments, accessibility upgrades like a stage lift, enhanced security measures, and other facility upgrades that further modernize the performance space.
