Vendor needs to provide fiber optic cable services to the government authority located in Massachusetts.• The cable shall have a dielectric rodent–resistant fiberglass armor, rodent–resistant outer jacket, an interlocking aluminium armor, or a corrugated steel armor.• Each optical fiber shall be proof tested by the fiber manufacturer at a minimum of 100 kpsi (0.7 GN/m2).• The fiber shall be coated with a dual layer acrylate protective coating. The coating shall be in physical contact with the cladding surface.• Optical fibers shall be placed inside a loose buffer tube. The buffer tubes shall be made of polypropylene.• The nominal outer diameter of the buffer tube shall be 2.5 mm.
