Vendor needs to provide economic development consultant service to the government authority located in Somerville, NJ. – The Economic Development Consultant shall coordinate to produce an economic development plan with established metrics. Experience preparing and reviewing market, fiscal impact, and feasibility analyses; experience with redeveloper negotiations, downtown revitalization, and business retention and attraction; working knowledge of Economic Development Authority, Department of Community Affairs, and other State and federal programs, including the Economic Redevelopment and Growth (ERG) Grant Program; experience working with Special Improvement Districts and downtown business organizations; and a record of successful grant applications.
