(1) Vendor needs to provide digital writing tool. – The solution agency needs to have:• The ability to provide a tool that assists to deliver appropriate writing outcomes for students• A demonstrable track record in delivering similar services• Experience delivering professional learning and development using the tool• Alignment with the currently published New Zealand curriculum, or able to align within the implementation timeframe.• Clear and structured teaching – The solution is easy for teachers and students to follow and based on proven learning methods, accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.• Building core writing and spelling skills – The solution helps students strengthen their spelling and writing fluency through clear and focused instruction.• Year–level learning goals – The solution supports students at different year levels with writing goals specific to their learning needs.• Feedback and progress tracking – The solution provides students with regular, specific trends and areas of continued development that is required. The learning pathway adapts based on their individual progress to ensure the learning outcomes are achieved.• Customer Experience – The solution is engaging, visually appealing, and easy to navigate for each of students and teachers.• Teacher training and support – The solution supports teachers with training, user guides, navigation tips and other support around use of the solution and teaching strategies.• Culturally responsive design – The solution acknowledges the cultural identities and backgrounds of all learners.• Writing structure and language use – The solution helps students organise their writing and use language effectively.• Ability to report at regional and national levels – The solution helps the Ministry to report and receive information and aggregate this at different levels.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 24, 2026.
