Professional Engineering Services for Dona Bay Phase 5

Request For Professional Services The County is seeking a consultant to provide engineering services for the Dona Bay Watershed Management Plan (DBWMP) Restoration Phase 5 (Project). The Project involves potential modifications to the Blackburn Canal which can include installation of a low-flow weir or other alternative, which could include complete severing of the connection between the Myakka River Basin and the Curry Creek Basin near the historic ridgeline in Venice, Florida. The County anticipates awarding a CCNA Specific Project Agreement to run for the duration of the Project. Refer to the Solicitation Documents and Attachments section for minimum qualifications, scope/specifications, and insurance requirements. This project includes RESTORE grant funding. All applicable grant terms are included in OpenGov and shall control over any contract terms in the draft contract. Grant documents that require Bidder’s signature will be available in the Vendor Questionnaire section.
