Water Main Replacement Contract 11

Water Main Replacement Contract 11 - Front Street, Second Street & Third Street. This project consists of installing approximately 7,276 LF of 8” Waterline, 3,256 LF of 12” waterline, jack and boring 162 LF 18” casing pipe, removing 11 fire hydrants, installing 31 fire hydrants, installing 145 service connections, installing 7,265 LF of water services and reconnecting to existing water meters, 23,127 sf of sidewalk removed and replaced and other related items. This contract is subject to the provision of Davis Bacon, Prevailing Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. In order to be considered responsive, the contractor and all subcontractors will need to comply with City Ordinance 08-2023 which was passed in April of 2023. A copy of the Ordinance 08-2023 is included in the attachment list. The project will be awarded to the lowest and most responsive bidder based on the Grand Total Price of the Base Bid and any Alternatives that are accepted.
