(1) Vendor needs to provide professional development, instructional coaching and school leadership support services to the government authority located in Newburgh, NY.• Design and deliver a coordinated suite of Instructional Leadership Coaching, Teacher Professional Development and School Improvement Planning support that directly advances the four lead strategies• Increase structured academic discourse so students explain their thinking and build on the ideas of peers (Building Thinking Classrooms / discourse–based instruction).– Engage students in cognitively demanding tasks that require reasoning, sense–making, and problem–solving (rigor, Depth of Knowledge, and task quality).– Establish a schoolwide culture of connectedness and belonging — grounded in consistent routines, restorative practices, and authentic relationships — that reduce absenteeism and build student perseverance.– Implement an accessible communication system and build community partnerships that empower families as active partners in student success.• Co–develop and refine agency needs assessment and School Improvement Plan (SIP) alongside school and district leadership• Support instructional leaders in studying progress toward strategic priorities so they can replicate “bright spots” and address areas of opportunity• Provide professional training and instructional coaching to school leaders to accelerate teacher development and increase student achievement in alignment with the SIP• Collaborate with instructional leaders to create and refine tools and resources for teacher development, ensuring lessons are rigorous and standards aligned• Support data cycles analyzing student work and discourse to identify instructional needs• Conduct instructional rounds / classroom walkthroughs and support inter–rater reliability among school leaders on discourse look–fors• Support curriculum and resource adoption decisions tied to discourse–based instruction• Support a school–level audit/inventory of instructional tasks and build a bank of high–demand tasks(2) The contract period will be for one year.
