NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) White Sands Test Facility (WSTF) has a requirement to replace an obsolete thrust measurement system, including design, calibration, installation, integration, and validation of specialized test equipment.NASA JSC WSTF intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire this item from Force Measurement Systems, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.103–1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Force Measurement System, Inc. is the only supplier that provides a thrust measurement system that is compatible with hypergolic propellants, can operate at 0.1 psia, and can withstand the environmental conditions present with in a vacuum rated rocket propulsion test stand.The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial product or commercial service using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Cynthia Uribe, [email? redacted], not later than 4 pm Mountain Daylight Time on August 12, 2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.
