(1) Vendor needs to provide next–generation firewall and network security solution.• The solution will replace and enhance the district’s existing Palo alto networks environment and must protect data centers, the Internet edge, business–to–business connections, hub sites, cloud environments, administrative facilities.• Application–aware policy enforcement and granular application function control.• Intrusion prevention, antivirus, anti–malware, anti–botnet, command–and–control detection, DNS threat protection (where proposed), and cloud–based threat intelligence.• Automated and manual malicious–file detonation with results distributed to all relevant enforcement points and visible in the centralized management console.• Inbound and outbound TLS/SSL decryption with policy exceptions, privacy controls, certificate lifecycle procedures, decryption–failure visibility and performance reporting.• Support multiple domain controllers, native site or domain–controller discovery, group mapping, service–account minimization, certificate–based authentication where available, and identity continuity during directory or connector outages.• Centralize logging, monitoring, alerting, and reporting for the entire proposed environment, including system health, traffic, threat, authentication, access, configuration, audit, and administrative events.(2) A pre–bid conference will be held on October 15, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than October 12, 2026.(4) A contract period will be for one year.
