(1) Vendor needs to provide multi–use path study services to the government authority located in Orland Park, IL.– Conduct a comprehensive study of all existing multi–use paths within village limits, with the goal of identifying gaps in the existing multi–use path network and identifying new paths to expand it.– Includes gaps that can be filled easily with a smaller budget, as well as larger improvements needed to create a fully realized network that provides connectivity throughout the village.– Coordinate, lead, and manage a project kick–off meeting, and conduct progress and coordination meetings at reasonable intervals throughout the duration of the project.– Review, field–verify, and confirm the accuracy of the village's existing multi–use path map and GIS data, and identify any discrepancies, gaps, or updates needed. The consultant should also evaluate the paths for condition.– Develop a prioritization framework to rank the recommended path projects based on criteria such as estimated costs, connectivity, safety benefit, constructability, and grant eligibility.– Facilitate public engagement component to gather community input on priority connections and needs, if determined appropriate in coordination with village staff.– Prepare concept level cost estimates, including design fees for each recommended multi–use path.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 17,2026.
