(1) Vendor needs to provide general legal counsel services including coordinate specialized litigation counsel when litigation expertise, capacity, insurance requirements, or cost considerations make separate counsel appropriate to the government authority located in West Melbourne, FL.1. Board governance and corporate counsel. 2. Sunshine Law and public records.3. State charter school law and sponsor relations. 4. Policy development and compliance. 5. Contracts and procurement. 6. Public finance and bond compliance. 7. Student matters. 8. Claims, disputes, and risk management. 9. Litigation coordination. 10. Training and preventive counseling. 11. Other general school–related matters. 12 Service and Communication Expectations 13. Designate one lead relationship attorney who remains accountable for service quality, budget, deadlines, and communication, plus at least one qualified backup attorney. 14. Acknowledge routine requests within one business day and urgent requests as soon as reasonably practicable on the same business day. 15. Provide concise, business–oriented advice that identifies legal risk, practical options, recommended action, and required decision authority. 16. Use associates and paralegals when cost–effective, while ensuring that the designated lead attorney remains substantively involved in significant or sensitive matters. 17. Maintain secure methods for exchanging records that may include student, personnel, privileged, confidential, or security–related information. 18. Provide itemized monthly invoices and, upon request, matter–level budgets, status reports, and advance warning of material budget variances.– RFP/RFI/Bid document has not been included.
