MATERIAL TESTING SERVICES & SPECIAL INSPECTOR KEENEY ELEMENTARY RENOVATIONS STATE PROJECT #077-0241 RNV

The Town of Manchester is soliciting bids for Material Testing Services and Special Inspection Coordinator required during the renovation of Keeney Elementary School, 179 Keeney Street, Manchester, CT 06040. The work at Keeney Elementary consists of: Net Zero goal project. Additions of approximately 8,600 SF to the existing building. Renovate as new of existing 48,000 SF structure. Work includes exterior envelope upgrades with new doors, windows, insulation, and photovoltaic system. The interior will receive all new systems, including finishes, millwork, mechanical, geothermal, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, tele/data, and security. Extensive site work including new utilities, parking areas, fencing, sidewalks, and plantings. The construction cost is approximately $29,000,000. The project will start with abatement and demolition activities in June 2023. Services will commence immediately upon award. It is anticipated the project will be completed by August 2024.
