Walton County Pedestrian Master Plan

The Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the "Board", is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from Engineering Firms, herein referred to as “Consultant”, licensed to practice in the State of Florida to develop a plan to prioritize the design and construction of multi-use paths and sidewalks for the Project Title (Project), in accordance with the specifications stated herein. The proposed scope of work for this Project is to develop a county-wide master plan that will identify existing pedestrian infrastructure, analyze current needs, identify future projects and locations, update the scoring criteria matrix, develop a final plan and report with supporting documentation to assist the County in seeking additional funding sources for each project and then utilizing GIS based software to create maps for the County to publish the final results on the County website . Consultants shall be FDOT certified, and documentation shall be included. This Project is funded by the FDOT Local Transportation Project (LTP) grant, FPN 454823-1-14-01, Contract G3844. This solicitation is made in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 287.055, Laws of Florida, known as the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) and with the specifications stated herein.
