(1) Vendor needs to provide bilingual speech language pathologist and physical therapy assistant services to the government authority located in Granbury, TX. – Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist:• Speech and language evaluations for a variety of students ages 3 to 22 years in Spanish.• Speech and language pathologists will represent assessment and instruction in annual, review, and dismissal meetings.• Speech and language pathologists will demonstrate knowledge of assistive technology.• Prepare reports and maintain accurate and complete records as required by speech and language pathologist’s licensure, administrative regulations, and district policy.• Display professional behavior in dress and in communication with the educational staff, students and their parents, and administration at all times.• Professional development hours are the sole responsibility of the contracted speech and language pathologists.– Physical Therapist Assistant:• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of the independent school district physical therapist.• Provide services for special education students to improve learning outcomes for students.• Physical therapist assistant will assist the education staff in writing standards based goals on individual education plans in the areas of activities of daily living, health education, motor, vocational, and physical education.• Physical therapist assistant will demonstrate knowledge of assistive technology.• Physical therapy services may be provided in all school environments, e.g. classroom, hallways, playground, cafeteria and bathroom.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
