(1) Vendor needs to provide wastewater geographic information systems technician service to the government authority located in Iowa City, IA. – Salary Range: 66,060.80 – 82,846.40 USD (starting wage contingent upon experience) – Permanent full–time position available. – Prepares, maintains, and updates collections, maintenance and service system maps, plats, graphics, statistics, web applications and presentation materials with extensive use of geographic information systems– Use global positioning system (GPS) instruments to collect utility infrastructure data and train others in the use of basic GPS data collection. – Under general direction, consolidate inspection and video data of wastewater construction including subdivision and site plan projects for conformance with pipeline inspection standards. Participate in construction plan reviews.– Tracks all aspects of wastewater and stormwater asset inspection and work history.(2) This is not RFP; this is job posting.
