EXTRA-73490 - USA (South Kingstown, Rhode Island) - Water Rate Management Plan Services - Deadline August 28,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide water rate management plan services to the government authority located in South Kingstown, RI.– Water rate study:– Review of all current financial data, services, and potential rate increase by the town’s wholesale provider to develop a starting point for the study to be based on.– Develop a cost allocation study of the department’s ratepayers to determine which customers are contributing to the cost of operations for the purpose of making rate increase or decrease recommendations.– Management study:– Review and analyze the department’s practices on meter reading, billing, collections and accounts receivable and make recommendations as to where improvements can be made in these areas.– Conduct a thorough review of the department’s costs, including staffing and overtime requirements, to identify any areas were cost savings may be made.– Review the possibility of increased billing and provide a strategy for the implementation of the transition as well as calculate the cash benefit of the increased billing and make recommendations as to where those funds will be utilized best.
