(1) Vendor needs to provide certified public accountancy services to the government authority located in California.– Certified public accountancy services are needed to support the public administrator and public guardian programs with preparation and filing of tax returns for decedents, conserved persons, and other cases under the program’s jurisdiction– Services may include gathering and reviewing financial records, preparing federal and state individual income tax returns, identifying filing requirements and deadlines, coordinating with program staff on documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and reporting obligations– Review the County referral packet and all available financial, legal, and tax records– Returns believed to be required– Tax years requiring action– Tax Research, Analysis, and Advisory Services(2) A non–mandatory pre–proposal meeting will be held on October 30, 2026.(3) All questions must be submitted no later than November 6, 2026.(4) The contract period will be for one year.
