(1) Vendor needs to provide VMware virtual infrastructure services to the government authority located in SC. – provide a VMware virtualization infrastructure modernization project, including hardware procurement, installation, configuration, migration, training, and documentation.– provide a fully integrated solution that leverages the Hospital's existing Pure Storage environment and Commvault backup platform while upgrading the virtualization environment from VMware vCenter Server 7 to the latest supported VMware vCenter platform– The solution must provide increased performance, capacity, resiliency, cybersecurity protections, and scalability to support future organizational growth.– Modernize and secure the Hospital's VMware virtualization infrastructure using current vendor–supported hardware and software platforms.– Provide sufficient compute, memory, networking, and storage connectivity capacity to support approximately 140 virtual machines and anticipated growth over the next five years.– Provide comprehensive documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to enable Hospital IT staff to independently maintain and support the environment after project completion.– The selected vendor shall provide:• New enterprise–class VMware virtualization host hardware.• Hardware sized appropriately for current workloads and projected growth over a minimum five–year planning horizon.• VMware software installation, configuration, licensing review, and migration services.• Upgrade of VMware vCenter Server 7 to VMware vCenter 9.• Migration of approximately 140 production virtual servers.• Integration with the Hospital's existing Pure Storage environment.• Integration with the Hospital's existing Commvault backup environment.• UPS infrastructure providing a minimum of forty–five (45) minutes runtime for all proposed compute, networking, and virtualization components.• All required network adapters, Fibre Channel adapters, transceivers, SFPs, fiber patch cables, copper cables, power cables, rack hardware, and ancillary components.• Project management, implementation services, migration services, testing, documentation, and training.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 28, 2026.
