(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Utah. • Preparing or responding to correspondence regarding legal matters;• Providing oral and written legal opinions to City officials on City activities;• Participating in developing staff recommendations to the City Council and the Planning Commission, as needed;• Preparing or reviewing contracts;• Advising, overseeing, or conducting litigation and eminent domain proceedings;• Advising the City on land use and zoning issues• Advising and participating in code enforcement activities;• Advising on updates to existing City codes, resolutions, and other policies and practices;• Addressing legal questions arising in the general conduct of City business by researching and analyzing case law, evidence, correspondence, and other written materials; and• Defending the City and its officials in civil proceedings(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than Aug 6, 2026.
