Vendor needs to provide township attorney services to the government authority located in Warren, NJ.– Proposal must have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience representing municipalities, public entities as a municipal or real public entity attorney. – Preparation and review of resolutions, ordinances, memoranda and agreements on and all subject matters requested by the township committee, township administrator and department supervisors.– The attorney shall represent the Township relative to all litigation, other than for insurance defense litigation or where the attorney has a conflict of interest.– Attorney and or firm shall have experience in labor contract negotiations and employment law matters.– Coordinate all work performed by Township Special Counsel meeting held by zoom or similar platform.– Attorney shall make themselves available for telephone calls and emails for questions by the township committee members and various department heads.– Attend all meetings of the township committee.– Review all performance bonds, maintenance bonds and deeds submitted by developers and see to the preparation of memos in connection therewith: prepare or review of all bid specifications and prepare resolutions awarding contract.
