(1) Vendor needs to provide trauma therapist services to the government authority located in White Plains, NY. • Licensed social workers or psychotherapists for the provision of crisis intervention, trauma therapy, counselling, criminal justice support and related follow up services with crime victims.• One of the two positions is to support spanish–speaking victims and will require spanish language skills.• Provide in–person therapy sessions for victims• Provide telephone counselling services to victims• Provide crisis intervention services for victims• Advocate with outside agencies, including health care professionals, on behalf of victims• Advocate with those in the legal system during the criminal justice process on behalf of victims• Accompany victims to court when requested• Research and provide information and referrals to victims• Participate in meetings with staff regarding individual clients• Administrative tasks such as record–keeping and compilation and presentation of statistical and narrative repo(2) The contract period will be for one year.
