(1) Vendor needs to provide contract security services to the government authority located in Smithfield, VA.– Provide trained school security officers to support the safety and security operations of the division's secondary schools.– School Security Officers shall generally provide coverage during regular school operating hours (7:00 am until 3:00 pm) including student arrival and dismissal periods.– Typical coverage may be approximately eight (8) hours per day during the student instructional calendar.– Campus security and monitoring.– Weapons detection operations.– Safety and security response.– Student engagement and prevention.– Event security.– Documentation and reporting.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
