WSSC is among the largest water and wastewater utilities in the nation, with a network of nearly 5,600 miles of freshwater pipeline and more than 5,400 miles of sewer pipeline, serving 1.8 million residents.</span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;</span></span></p></div><div><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">It is the intent of WSSC to obtain a Contractor to perform the annual inspections and recommended annual preventive maintenance (PM) on approximately 196 overhead cranes/hoists at various WSSC facilities located within Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland. The Contractor shall be required to perform a thorough annual inspection of the hoisting machinery and provide lubrication to all components requiring such. If required, the Contractor shall perform emergency repair services in order to maintain all cranes/hoists in proper operating condition, on a time and material basis.
