– Vendor needs to provide municipal affordable housing attorney service to the government authority located in Garfield, NJ. – Provide professional services to the city on all legal issues relative to the standard operations of affordable housing for the city.– Provide legal advice and counsel concerning the city's affordable housing obligations.– Prepare, review, and advise on affordable housing ordinances, resolutions, policies, agreements, deed restrictions, affordability controls, and related legal documents.– Advise and assist the city concerning judgments of compliance and repose, settlement agreements, consent orders, and other court–approved affordable housing mechanisms.– Provide legal advice concerning affordable housing developments, redevelopment projects, inclusionary developments, developer agreements, and affordable housing set–aside requirements.– Advise the city concerning the affordable housing trust fund, development fees, spending plans, and permissible expenditures.– Advise and assist the city with the enforcement of affordability controls, deed restrictions, resale restrictions, and other affordable housing requirements.– Review and provide legal guidance concerning policies, procedures, notices, forms, and other documents prepared by the affordable housing administrative agent.
