For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding or procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations that must have the following: Valid Legal Status of Company in the country of incorporation, such as a valid Certificate of Company Registration. Certificate of Incorporation and necessary legal permits to conduct business. Valid and Current Tax Clearance certificate from home country indicating that company has duly paid all its tax liability. Documentary evidence demonstrating at least 2 contracts of solar systems supplied and installed in the last 5 years. Manufacturer’s Authorization 4.
