(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Toms River, NJ.– Conducting legal research and providing written and oral legal opinions and recommendations as requested. – Reviewing, drafting, and advising on contracts, interlocal agreements, intergovernmental agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other legal documents.– Attending regular, special, executive or session, and caucus meetings of the board of trustees, as requested by the board chairperson or designee.– Advising the board of trustees and senior administrative staff regarding applicable federal and state laws, regulations, administrative rulings, and court decisions that may affect college operations.– Being reasonably available for meetings and consultations with senior administrative staff, college officials, and the board of trustees as needed.– Providing legal advice related to labor and employment matters, including collective bargaining agreements and negotiations with employee bargaining units, when requested.– Providing governance, policy, compliance, procurement, higher education, and risk management advice as needed.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026.
