Predmet javnega naročila je dobava validiranega forenzičnega sistema za sekvenciranje naslednje generacije (angl. Next-Generation Sequencing – NGS) za identifikacijo oseb. Ponujeni forenzični sistem mora temeljiti na tehnologiji NGS ter biti posebej razvit, validiran in komercialno dostopen za potrebe forenzične identifikacije oseb. Raziskovalni sistemi oziroma sistemi, primarno razviti za raziskovalne namene in naknadno prilagojeni za forenzično uporabo, niso dopustni.
