REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING, SURVEYING, ARCHITECTURAL, PLANNING, AND RELATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The Town of Granite Falls, North Carolina (“Town”), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) from qualified professional firms to provide on-call professional services for municipal projects and assignments undertaken by the Town during the contract term. The Town intends to establish a pool of qualified firms capable of providing professional services on an as-needed basis. Services may include, but are not limited to, engineering, surveying, architectural, planning, environmental, project management, construction administration, inspection, grant assistance, and other related professional services. The Town anticipates selecting multiple firms in various service categories and/or areas of specialization. Selection under this RFQ will be based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the professional services required, consistent with applicable North Carolina law. The Town intends to enter into Master On-Call Professional Services Agreements with selected firms for an initial period of five (5) years, with an option, at the Town’s sole discretion, to extend the agreements for one additional three-year period. Selection under this RFQ does not guarantee any firm a minimum amount of work, a specific number of assignments, or any compensation.
