Laboratory analyses and tests may include but not limited to: – Chemical composition (quantitative analysis). – Scanning electron microscopy.– Tensile tests.– Hardness tests.– Charpy V–notch impact tests.– Stress–rupture testing.– Drop weight tests (NDT).– Dynamic shear tests.– Heat treating.– Reduced section tensile tests.– Transverse root and face bend tests.– Macro–etch tests.– Nick–break tests.– Fracture toughness tests.– Fatigue tests.– Grain size determination.– Tube–to–tube sheet pull tests.– Tube expansion tests.– Tube residual stress tests.– Mercurous nitrate tests.– Qualitative spectrographic analysis.(2) A pre–bid meeting will be held on August 11, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
