Description
The County shall purchase liquid asphalt for which prices have been submitted on the bid whenever the County determines that the overall cost of purchasing liquid asphalt from the contractor is lower than purchasing liquid asphalt from another vendor. County’s calculation of the overall cost shall be based on the contractor’s unit price and the County’s transportation costs. The County shall transport the liquid asphalt from the Contractor’s place of business to the County’s work sites unless the County makes arrangements with the Contractor to deliver the liquid asphalt to the work sites. In which event the Contractor may charge a reasonable fee for delivering the liquid asphalt.
