2022 Landfill Tarp and Deployment System

The City of Lebanon Department of Public Works is seeking sealed bids for one (1) automatic tarp system as specified including all equipment, materials, freight, delivery, and all requirements for operation. These specifications describe equipment to be used as alternative daily cover at the City’s Landfill. This tarp system base bid shall be for: tarps sufficient to cover 10,000 square feet of trash; one spool and mount two tarps on each spool; The spools shall be designed to hold up to 300 feet of tarp on each; Tarps shall have adequate ballast chain on the tarp sides and steel cable at 12 foot intervals throughout the length of the tarp; All chain and cable shall be enclosed in heavy-duty sewn pockets; Tarps shall be designed with connectors and straps to adequately connect and disconnect multiple lengths of tarp; The tarps shall be engineered to withstand typical landfill operations for a minimum of two years; The tarps shall be of a geotextile material and conform to ASTM specifications. The deployment system shall be able to be operated from within the cab of all landfill equipment. A bid item shall also be submitted for additional tarps.
