(1) Vendor needs to provide temporary labor services to the government authority located in Ocala, FL.a. Perform work and responsibilities involved in the preparation of meats,vegetables, breads, salads, pastries, and dessertsb. clean utensils and equipment used. Mop floor area in kitchen and other work areasc. Rigorously adhere to safe sanitation and cleanliness standardsd. Generally assist in all areas of Food Service Operationse. Perform related work as assigned– Cover immediate needs for food service substitutes in school cafeterias within agency area.– Provide temporary food service substitutes within the anticipated start time as required by the Food and Nutrition Department. In most cases the anticipated start time is within one to two hours of receiving the call.– Provide temporary food service substitutes with the ability to meet or exceed all aspects of food service school cafeteria work, including punctuality and attendance.– Handle all personnel issues and client concerns.– The Vendor is entirely responsible for filling the shifts, modifying schedules in their own systems, and compiling verified weekly hours into a record.– Furnish substitute food service worker suitably trained or with sufficient background to accomplish specified tasks.– It is imperative that the awarded vendor be in a position to provide another qualified food service substitute within one hour.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 5, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
