– Vendor needs to provide Alaska indigenous languages literacy screeners service to the government authority located in Eugene, OR. – Provide creation of literacy screeners in one of the Alaska Native languages, excluding Inupiaq, Yugtun, Tlingit, Dena’ina, and Gwich’in.– Screeners will include measures of letter–sound correspondence knowledge, phonological awareness, decoding, passage–based oral reading fluency, and reading comprehension.– Develop and deliver forms for testing component reading skills (i.e., letter–sound knowledge, phonological awareness, and decoding) in the target language that can be completed by students in approximately one minute in grades 1 through 5.– Create and deliver 9 passages per grade for grades 1–5 in the target language.– Develop 60 true or false statements per grade for grades 3–5 as an approach to measuring reading comprehension.– Engage with passage authors that are experienced in writing and story–telling for children.
