Eviction Prevention

The City is soliciting proposals from organizations and agencies able to provide services and programming to address evictions in our community. We are seeking organizations able to address human necessities and assist in resource connection, providing pathways toward stable and permanent housing and innovative supportive services to assist renters to successfully maintain stable housing. In addition, the City seeks a high level of outreach to build relationships and engagement within Santa Fe to better understand renter’s needs. The City is open and willing to look at proposals that reimagine the City’s approach to preventing and responding to evictions. Santa Fe has identified guaranteed income and cash disbursement as a strategy for prevention of evictions. These programs are successful at preventing displacement of our most vulnerable residents. The City of Santa Fe is interested in receiving proposals from organizations that are able to help distribute a guaranteed income program targeted at keeping vulnerable constituents in their homes. This is one of many potential projects that could be supported through this RFP. Offerors are invited to propose and then provide projects or services in need of funding that relate to one or more of the following: Cash / Financial Assistance Legal Services Eviction Prevention Program Evaluation Eviction Prevention Program Development Eviction Prevention Program Facilitation Grant Writing Analysis/study of evictions in Santa Fe Other miscellaneous services to individuals and families related to preventing housing instability.
